About Lucia
大家好，my name is Lucia and I graduated from Monash university with the degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education (in Chinese and EAL) and Bachelor of Arts (major in Linguistics).
As a native Chinese speaker studying in Australia, I fully understand and empathize with the difficulties that one needs to go through to learn a second or even a third language. I hope to help you as much as I can on your journey of learning Chinese.

My teaching approach is mainly interactive and learner-centered.
My classes focus more on developing learners' speaking and listening - conversation skills by incorporating popular Chinese slang, history and culture, and topics of interest to learners.
The content chosen will also be determined according to the level of the learners.
Lower level learners will explore more about pronunciation, tones, and pinyin. Intermediate and advanced learners will explore more in the areas of difficult and long sentences, idioms, and slangs.
