About Isabella

I am an experienced graduate with six years of higher education and several additional years in academia. Learning is my passion and I want to share that passion with all students, as I believe enthusiasm is at the core of all life learning. At the same time, I take the work of learning seriously. It requires organization, dedication, and pursuing through challenges to reach your goals-- and these are all skills I teach in addition to course material. Let's learn together!

About the lesson

I am most enthusiastic about fostering student growth and empowerment-- we are not just here to learn the material, but to integrate and process it! I seek to expand beyond primary and secondary thinking to reflexive tertiary thinking, as making connections with other realms of study and knowledge helps to make connections in neural networks and make new learning stick. I was a writing and speaking tutor for two years at Whitman College, an elite Liberal Arts university in the United States, as well as a teaching assistant. While my lessons are best for secondary and university students, I also have training in Danish Early Childhood Education and Montessori for primary school students.
