I believe the student-teacher relationship should be one that is comfortable and enjoyable not only for the students but also for the teachers because if either one of them are not comfortable in their setting then the proper way of learning/teaching will not be achieved hence no progress will be gained from either side.

Making it fun and enjoyable for the students to not only learn the basics of a language but also comprehend the proper way of using the language.
