Graduated from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts, BFA Degree, received AFA degree from Raritan Valley CC in 2023, currently working with Charles Smith in NY.

As Director of the Dance program at Raritan Valley Community College, I witnessed Matthew grow and develop creativity in my classes, including Choreography, Dance Ensemble, Professional Development, and Modern. Matthew is a dancer who shapes his ideas into crafted works and expresses himself uniquely and passionately. He has performed in traditional and original works presented to the college and the community. Mr. Maxcy was an asset in my classes; his comments were gentle and insightful, and his enthusiasm and energy were always positive.

Mr. Maxcy is a confident and congenial teacher. He is always open to the suggestions of those whom he works with and sensitive to the feelings and needs of others. He would be an asset at any school or studio!
