About Sage
I’m a Web Development tutor with over nine years of experience and a background in Computer Science with a focus on both front-end and back-end technologies. I enjoy working with middle and high school students, introducing them to the exciting basics of how websites and applications are built. My lessons turn coding into an approachable, creative, and rewarding experience. I often use simple, hands-on projects so students can see their progress right away. Whether it’s designing a personal portfolio, building a small game, or creating a website for a hobby, each project makes concepts like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript come alive. I also connect lessons to everyday experiences—explaining how the sites and apps they already use are built. Live demonstrations and interactive coding exercises keep sessions engaging. Students are encouraged to experiment with code, make changes, and instantly see the results. This way, learning becomes an active process where creativity and problem-solving grow together. Over the years, I’ve helped learners move from complete beginners to confident coders. My teaching approach focuses on building strong, practical skills in web development through clear, step-by-step learning.
