English

Hi,
I’m here to help you get better at English—both understanding it and using it confidently. My lessons focus on three key areas:
Understanding what others mean: Whether it’s someone talking to you or something you’re reading, you’ll learn how to figure out what’s being said or written.
Creating your personal thoughts and ideas: Whether you’re a student, a professional, or just someone with ideas to share, you’ll learn how to communicate your thoughts clearly.
Communicating your ideas with others: You’ll practice how to explain your thoughts and feelings in a way that makes sense, both when speaking and writing.
To do so, we’ll work on a mix of important topics that make all the difference when using English:
Grammar: Making sure your sentences are correct and sound natural
Clarity and logic: Helping you say or write things in a way that flows and makes sense
Fluency: Getting you to think and speak/write smoothly and naturally without getting stuck
Vocabulary: Building your word bank so you can express yourself better, We’ll also have fun with slang and idioms—those little phrases that make language lively!
Pronunciation and spelling: Make sure you say words clearly and spell them right, even those tricky ones that sound the same but mean different things (they’re called homophones).
We’ll practice these in all four important language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
To keep things fun and effective, we’ll use a variety of strategies. You’ll:
Talk about real-life, useful topics to build your everyday communication skills.
Work on sentence structure and the basic grammar rules that make English click.
Play engaging and educational games that teach you while keeping it fun!
My teaching philosophy
As an experienced educator, I understand that learning English as a second language can feel tough and even stressful, but don’t worry—I’ve got you! My goal is to make learning fun, relaxed, and something you actually enjoy. Think of me as your friend and practice buddy, here to guide you and cheer you on.
Here’s what I focus on:
Building learning resilience: Nobody’s perfect, and that’s totally okay. In my classes, you’re free to mess up because every mistake is a chance to get better and build learning resilience.
Improving confidence: By pushing yourself to practice English in a stress-free and trusting environment, like my classes, you improve your English level, and therefore you become more confident in using the language in less familiar situations.
Thinking in English: This is super important for becoming fluent! you’ll train your brain to think in English, so it makes your communication style more natural. We’ll work on two types of brain thinking patterns: 1) Fast thinking for quick responses during conversations or real-life situations. 2) Slow thinking for when responses could be delayed and you can take your time to think; like writing an email, a university assignment or giving a presentation.
At the end of the day, learning English doesn’t have to be stressful. I want to help you improve while having fun in a friendly and relaxed environment.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, let’s start practising together!
