Hello, I'm Fukiko. I have taught Japanese to more than 150 students for 2 years and a half in France. So I can also teach in French. I offer my lessons at low price(30 %off of my price in Europe) for my teaching experience in Canada. But don't worry, I have the title of "Superprof" in French superprof. 12CAD for a hour private lesson.

Do you know how many hours to study Japanese for English speakers? It is said 325〜 600 hours to achieve the first level(N5). If you work or study, it's difficult and expensive to takes many classes but I teach you with the effective method and not expensive so that you progress rapid.

Some my students had already learned Japanese at school. And in many schools, teachers follow just their textbook but they don't teach you how we really speak in real. For example, in the textbook, it's written "Ogenkidesuka ?" meaning How are you?, "sayonara" meaning good bye but we don't use theses phases. We find "Ogenkidesuka" in the letter for someone who you didn't see for a long time. And for "sayonara" it's a formal way to say good bye but also it's used to who you will see any more. So it can be rude on depending on the situation. We say "Matane" or "Jane" instead with friends.
There are teachers who just make us read a text book so that you understand the grammar but you don't have an opportunity to use or you feel difficulty to have a conversation in Japanese. In my class, you speak a lot and every time, I correct your phrase and I give you vocabularies.

In my class, you don't need to take a note but I write so that you can concentrate on hearing what I say and you will see your phrase I correct. You will learn faster by listening and looking at the phase at the same time. I share the document I write during the class for review.
In group class, I film my screen and I give you the link for review and for those who can't join the class because of work, lines or vacation.

JAPANESE LANGUAGE – CLASS DESCRIPTION
Teaching method:
- classes are either in group or 1 to 1 ;

- the professor's teaching method is based on my personal experience of teaching many students of all ages and many nationalities. Classes mainly consist in a natural conversation between the teacher and the student during which the teacher notes different points of vocabulary and grammar taken directly from the discussion. This teaching method promotes memorization and improves oral expression skills. All the notes are sent to the student at the end of each class and are available at any time in a digital space shared with the teacher. Between two lessons, the student is expected to review the items studied on the basis of the notes shared by the teacher. During the next lesson, such items are reviewed with the teacher.

- the class for beginners is designed so that the student quickly learns Japanese basics, up to a level at which classes can be held in Japanese only.

- for students aiming at taking official exams (such as JLPT), dedicated exercise books will be used.

- for students aiming at working or studying in Japan, the professor will also offer in-situation mock interviews.

- students will also learn in class (and will be encouraged to use) daily usable, natural Japanese (such as slang) rather than unnatural patterns which are found in textbooks only.

n Course objectives: reach a better Japanese level while simultaneously developing skills in:
• writing;
• reading ;
• listening comprehension;
• oral expression;
• culture and civilization.
Audience : Classes are for all audiences. If you already attended Japanese classes and felt like you did not have enough opportunities to speak and/or felt discouraged, this class is for you. If you are tired of learning Japanese with books and feel like your progress is slow, this class is also for you. If you want to learn Japanese with an intuitive and never-boring method, this class is for you too!

Group Class planning:
- Two hours per week (timing is set by the professor based on all students availability) ;
- Two groups for beginners : one on Saturday and one on Sunday
Group classes start every March. In case a student would like to start learning Japanese before the next enrollment, 1 to 1 lessons can start at all times.

Class recording : classes take place in a virtual classroom that the student can join. Although class attendance is strongly recommended, the classes are recorded which allows the student to have access to it in case they cannot attend. The student accepts that the lessons (potentially including their voice and image) are recorded.

Group class prices :
- 12CAD/hour for 1-year enrolment ;
- 15CAD/hour for 1-semester enrolment.

1-1 class prices :
- 20CAD/hour, 2 hours a week at minimum for fixed-time class*, based on 3 months enrolment ;
- 25CAD/hour for 3 enrolment.

* only students with a fixed-time class (same day, same hour every week) can benefit from the EUR 20 special price.
*If you can't continue 6 months, you can take two times or more a week.
