About Riley

Hello! My name is Riley and I am a passionate and experienced tutor with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring under my belt. I hold a degree in History from a prestigious Russell Group university, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). My background equips me with a deep understanding of effective teaching strategies, ensuring each student receives personalised and impactful support. I specialise in teaching History, Classics and English for students in KS2 through KS5, helping learners excel in both content and exam techniques. I am also experienced in working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing tailored approaches to suit individual learning styles. In addition, I am a specialist in preparing students for the 11+ exams, offering comprehensive tutoring across all components, including verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, English, and maths. My sessions focus on building confidence, mastering key skills, and fostering a love of learning. Whether your child is aiming to boost their grades, prepare for a key exam, or develop essential skills, I’m here to help them reach their full potential. Let’s work together to achieve success!
