About Clarissa
About me: I’m a Brazilian tutor who grew up bilingual — I’ve been learning and using English since childhood through language schools, daily practice, and cultural immersion. I’ve been living in Ireland for a year, and I’m currently a Psychology student, which gives me great insight into how people learn best. I apply this knowledge in my teaching style: I aim to make every lesson engaging, encouraging, and centered around you — your pace, your interests, and your goals. I teach both English and Portuguese, and I love working with learners of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re just starting out or want to fine-tune your skills, I’ll tailor our classes to help you feel more confident and fluent in your daily life, studies, or work. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and growing at your own rhythm. About the lessons: I’m a bilingual tutor offering dynamic and personalized English or Portuguese lessons — you choose the language you want to learn, and the one you’d like the class to be taught in! Availability: I’m available every day after 5:30 PM, and all day on weekends — online or in person (Dublin area). Flexible scheduling to fit your routine. Lesson style: My lessons are adapted to your level, age and goals, whether you’re a beginner or advanced learner. I work with: • Grammar explained in a clear, accessible way • Vocabulary for real-life situations • Listening and speaking practice • Pronunciation tips • Writing exercises • Cultural insights (especially helpful for expats and travelers) For all ages: Whether you’re helping your child with school, preparing for a trip, looking to improve your career, or just want to feel more confident in everyday conversations — I’m here to help!
