About Aiden

Hi! I'm a violin tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Diploma in Classical Violin. While I’m deeply rooted in classical technique, my true passion lies in exploring crossover styles like Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop Strings, and World Music. I love blending tradition with creativity, and I bring that same energy into every lesson. I use improvisation and looping pedals to teach students how to build their own sound. From writing original solos to adapting popular songs, I help learners make the violin their own voice. My lessons are hands-on, fun, and filled with creative techniques that go beyond sheet music. We explore tone, texture, and dynamics in new ways, opening up fresh possibilities on the instrument. I also guide students in performing with confidence and developing their own style. Whether you're a beginner or an advancing player, I support your growth step by step. Music is meant to express, explore, and inspire. About the lesson

My teaching approach to violin is structured, supportive, and expressive. I help students develop strong basics in posture, hand position, and bowing control from the start. Clear technique leads to confident playing, so we focus on intonation, rhythm, and tone development through steady practice.

I believe music should be both skillful and expressive. That’s why I guide students not only in playing correctly but also in playing with feeling and musicality. Whether you're just beginning or already perform in choirs or informal groups, I help you build the skills to play with ease and confidence.

Lessons include scales, exercises, and pieces that match your level and interest. I break down each step and give personalized tips to improve practice at home. I encourage a relaxed body and focused mind while playing to avoid tension. We work on musical expression, phrasing, and dynamic control to bring each piece to life.

Every student has unique goals, and I support them in reaching their personal best. Together, we build a love for the violin that lasts beyond the lesson.
