About Miles

I am an experienced Afrikaans home language speaker and writer, and have several pieces of publishes creative writing. I am comfortable, confident and capable in the language, and have taught/tutored Afrikaans as a home language, first additional language and foreign language, in both NSC and IEB curricula. With previous experience in teaching Afrikaans, I have complete faith that I can equip learners to reach their greatest potential in the language, beginning at any level.

About the lesson

I adjust my lesson plans according to the student's individual need. I spend the first lesson assessing the student's proficiency level, and adjust the lesson plans going forward accordingly. I can also help with specific goals, such as spelling, grammar, reading comprehension, spoken fluency, or preparations for specific assessments and exams. I have experience in both IEC and NSC curricula, from grade 4 to matric.
