About Olivia
I’m a pre-service teacher based in Melbourne, currently studying Secondary and Special Education. I also work as a Learning Support Officer at a leading Melbourne secondary school, where I support students with diverse learning needs across a range of subjects. With hands-on experience and a strong passion for inclusive education, I’m dedicated to helping students build confidence and develop the literacy skills they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

These one-on-one literacy sessions are tailored for students with higher learning needs who need extra support with reading comprehension, spelling, and foundational skills. My approach is structured, patient, and personalised to each student’s pace and learning style.
Lessons include a mix of phonics, vocabulary work, spelling strategies, and guided reading to build confidence and core literacy skills. I use engaging, multisensory activities and track progress closely, helping students gain the tools they need to succeed in future years.

We had a great experience with Olivia. My son was having a tough time understanding ‘Twelfth Night’ for his English assessment. She really helped him break down the text and he went from being totally confused to actually enjoying it. Definitely recommend Olivia if your kid needs help with English, especially Shakespeare!
