About Joe
I am professional drummer and music educator based in Liverpool. I'm passionate about music and the drums and love passing on my skills and knowledge to anyone wishing to learn!
I have extensive professional teaching experience, hold a bachelor's degree in music from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, and have been playing drums professionally for over 8 years.

My goal in lessons is to help you fulfil whatever musical ambitions you may have, however big or small! Above all my lessons are fun and enjoyable, and will give you skills and experiences that go beyond drumming.
I teach:
- Beginner, intermediate and advanced abilities
– A wide range of styles and grooves including rock, pop, jazz, funk, reggae, Latin and more
- How to play your favourite songs!
– Rudiments
– Technique
- Reading music and drum notation
– Grades (all major syllabi)

Deadly! Joe is an excellent teacher with a lot of different styles that he can teach. I had no drumming experience at all when starting but found that very quickly I was able to play songs that I really enjoyed. Great teacher, would definitely recommend!
