About Spencer
My teaching approach is centred around adapting to each student's unique learning style, ensuring lessons are tailored to their strengths and challenges. I encourage creativity in every aspect of piano learning, helping students explore their musical expression through improvisation and composition. I also use diplomacy to foster a positive, motivating environment, making students feel supported and confident. My lessons cover performance, theory, ear training, technique, and music history, allowing students to develop holistically as musicians.

With 5 years of experience, I specialise in teaching piano to high school and college students, having successfully taught around 250 students. My teaching philosophy centres on a personalised approach, focusing on each student's unique needs and learning style. I believe in creating a positive and encouraging environment that fosters growth, builds confidence, and nurtures a love for music. My lessons cover performance, theory, and composition, helping students reach their full potential and achieve their musical goals.
