About Heather
My experience has been instructing Early Elementary Students for twenty six years. I received my Bachelor Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Elementary Education. My Masters Degree is from the University of Michigan with an Early Childhood Concentration. I enjoyed working with Kindergarten Students for twenty four years, First and Second Grade Students for one year, and Third Grade Students for one year. I worked with ESL students also instructing them in various programs to learn the English Language as a second language.

My teaching method and techniques are to provide students with hands on activities that enhances their specific subject material through examples that provide the student with the ability to follow instruction first, next complete material together through examples, and wrapping up with the student completing the assigned work on their own, sharing what they have learned throughout the lesson and showing their work. I have worked with students from Kindergarten to Third Grade in all subject areas.
