About Taibou
I am a native French speaker and dedicated tutor with a proven track record of academic success, achieving an H1 in Leaving Cert French (399/400). I studied Physics for two years at the University of Limerick and now study Medicine at the University of Milan, experiences which have strengthened my discipline, precision, and professional approach to teaching. My lessons are structured, exam-focused, and tailored to each student’s needs. I combine clear explanations with past papers, marking schemes, and personalized strategies to build confidence in grammar, comprehension, essay writing, and oral fluency. With experience in tutoring and exam preparation, I bring not only subject expertise but also a professional, reliable, and supportive teaching style. I aim to create an environment where students feel motivated, focused, and equipped to achieve their best results. Whether preparing for the Junior Cert or Leaving Cert, my goal is to make French both accessible and rewarding, while ensuring every student is fully prepared for exam success.

My tutoring style is clear, structured, and exam-focused. I break French into manageable steps, helping students master grammar, vocabulary, oral fluency, and writing. I use past papers, tailored notes, and practice questions to build confidence and exam technique.
Lessons usually last 60–90 minutes and are fully adapted to each student’s needs and goals. Having achieved H1 in Leaving Cert French (399/400), I know how to maximise marks and focus on what examiners are looking for.
I have experience in peer tutoring and exam preparation, and I’m very familiar with the official marking schemes. This allows me to guide students to achieve their best possible results.
My lessons are designed for Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students at all levels — whether aiming for top grades, catching up, or building confidence in orals, comprehension, and written work.
