I am a multi-faceted artist with a BM in Oboe Performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. I am working towards an MM in Oboe at the New England Conservatory.

About Kearsen
I have been playing the oboe since I started in 6th grade and have been in love with it ever since. My teachers come from a tradition of teaching a love of music, and this is exactly where I find my passion in teaching. Outside of Oboe, I am passionate about working with communities to increase access to art of all kinds, including art education.
As a performer, I have been a frequent guest around Indiana and Texas orchestras, including making appearances with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Austin Symphony.
As a teacher, I have 6 years of private teaching experience, including teaching masterclasses over the summers and teaching at Interlochen Arts Camp.
