About Alessia

Ciao! I’m a native Italian speaker with tutoring experience from university, where I supported students in improving their Italian language skills and academic writing. Having studied in both Italy and the UK, I understand the challenges learners face and how to bridge the gap between classroom grammar and real-world usage. My approach is structured yet engaging — I focus on building strong grammar and vocabulary foundations, while making lessons practical through conversation, culture, and interactive exercises. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s goals, whether it’s GCSE/A-level preparation, conversational fluency, or professional Italian. Lessons are typically 1 hour, tailored to your level and pace, and always aimed at building confidence. I’ve worked with beginners through to advanced learners, and I enjoy seeing students grow in both skill and enthusiasm for the language. About the lesson

Lesson Structure A typical lesson lasts 1 hour and mixes grammar, vocabulary, speaking practice, and listening/reading exercises. I also like to adapt to student goals — whether that’s preparing for GCSEs/A-levels, improving conversational fluency, or learning Italian for travel or business. My Background I’m a native Italian speaker who studied and tutored during university, helping fellow students improve their Italian and academic writing. This gave me experience working with different levels of learners, from complete beginners to advanced. Who I Teach My lessons are for all ages and levels — from school students (GCSE/A-level prep), to adults looking to learn for professional reasons, or anyone who simply loves Italian language and culture.
