About Clara
I discovered this instrument a year ago and fell in love with it. At first, I found it difficult to understand how to get a handpan and how to educate myself more than by my intuition. I then crisscrossed Paris to try out the instruments of the retail stores and then I met a teacher on this same platform! I followed an initiation with him and then I bought my first instrument, with the certainty that it was the right one and with the tools in hand to advance alone with it.
That's why I want to offer you a discovery too, to allow you a first approach with rich advice to start your trip ...
Today, I play very regularly with passion & I had the opportunity to working in a handpan factory, the place of origin of this magical universe!

Do you want to get away without thinking too much? You are in the right place ! The particularity of the handpan is that this musical instrument does not require any specific skill. Let go, a touch of imagination, an ounce of acceptance of the step by step, a little coordination work and your heart will do the rest!
My goal is for you to leave this course with a wealth of knowledge, a smile on your face and full of energy. This course is intended for people ranging from their very first experience with the instrument to students of beginner-intermediate levels.
We will go through 3 phases together:
- Discovery of the history & configuration of the handpan
- Learning of touch & the different means of obtaining sound
- The tools to work on your playing, melody, technique.

Deadly! J'ai été ravi de ce cours d'essai qui m'a permis de découvrir l'instrument, l'histoire de sa création et les différents types d'instruments existants, et de faire quelques exercices pour me familiariser avec l'instrument.
