Ben Coxon commenced employment at Campbell College Belfast in August 2024. Ben very quickly became a valuable asset to the Learning support department through his willingness to support a number of pupils who were experiencing difficulty re: learning. I was so impressed with his work ethic and professionalism that I asked if he would be willing to tutor my Niece who is currently studying for her A2 levels. Through working with Ben she improved her English coursework grade from a C to an A. I am delighted and cannot recommend him highly enough.

Ben has supported my daughter in the lead up to her English GCSE. He has gone the extra mile, offering to mark work after her English sessions. This feedback has developed her confidence, making her believe that she can achieve the highest grades. He is knowledgeable, patient and well informed.

Ben has been an amazing tutor for my son in preparing for the 11+ exams. His lessons are clear, engaging, and tailored to my son needs. We’ve seen great improvement in his confidence and ability across, especially in verbal and non-verbal reasoning. Ben is patient, reliable, and genuinely cares about his students’ success. Ben is a great tutor, he worked with my son on English Literature as he had been struggling to keep up with the rest of the class. After several months he felt confident to go into the exam and achieved a B! Ben was well prepared each week and was able to direct Liam in a way that worked best for him whilst also challenging him just enough to get him to think independently.
