About Naomi
Hi! I’m a passionate piano tutor with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, specializing in piano. Over the past 9 years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching students of all ages, from school-aged beginners to adults seeking to refine their skills. I blend academic training with practical experience across genres like classical, jazz, and pop. This allows me to create lessons that are both structured and fun, tailored to each student’s interests and goals. I focus on building strong technical skills, musical fluency, and confidence at the keyboard. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming to perform at a higher level, I adapt each lesson to your pace and learning style. I enjoy helping students develop not only their skills but also a genuine passion for music. My teaching incorporates sight-reading, ear training, and expressive playing, so every student can experience the joy of making music. Seeing my students succeed and fall in love with piano is what motivates me every day. I look forward to guiding you on your musical journey and helping you reach your goals, one note at a time.

My teaching approach focuses on building musical fluency step by step. I guide students to read music confidently and play with expression. Understanding musical structure is important, so I use rhythm drills, finger exercises, and song interpretation to strengthen skills.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s pace and goals. Beginners start with foundational techniques, while more advanced players work on complex pieces and expressive performance. I emphasize practice that is both structured and enjoyable, helping students stay motivated.
I support students who show exceptional talent or strong dedication, helping them refine their technique and achieve high-level performance. Every student receives attention to their unique strengths and areas for improvement. I encourage creativity, musical exploration, and confidence at the keyboard.
By combining technical exercises with real musical pieces, students learn not only to play but to understand and feel the music. I make learning engaging, achievable, and rewarding for all levels.
