About Nora
I am a dedicated piano tutor with over 9 years of teaching and performance experience, holding a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano. Music has always been my passion, and I love sharing that passion through teaching. Alongside performing, I enjoy music composition and songwriting, which allows me to bring creativity and fresh ideas into every lesson. My teaching style is fun, engaging, and personalized to suit the needs of each learner. I work with school students, college students, adults, and professionals, tailoring lessons to their goals and pace. Whether you are just starting or looking to polish advanced techniques, I make sure every session is enjoyable and productive. I specialize in chord theory, sight-reading, improvisation, and performance skills. These areas help students not only play the piano but also express themselves fully through music. Many of my students have progressed from intermediate to advanced levels, and I have successfully coached professionals aiming to refine their artistry. Every lesson blends technical growth with musical exploration, so you develop both skill and confidence. I strongly believe that learning the piano should be as exciting as playing it. My teaching approach focuses on making piano learning both structured and enjoyable. I guide students from the basics of keyboard technique to advanced performance skills with clear, step-by-step methods. Each lesson is designed to build strong foundations in finger strength, hand coordination, and posture. I also emphasize ear training, helping students recognize melodies, harmonies, and rhythms with ease. Music theory is applied directly to playing, so students connect what they learn to real performance.
I tailor lessons to match individual goals, whether someone dreams of professional growth or simply wants to play for personal joy. Some students progress quickly and aim high, while others learn at their own pace. In both cases, I ensure steady improvement with patience and encouragement. I introduce classical, jazz, pop, and modern genres to keep learning diverse and exciting. Students also practice performance skills, gaining confidence to play in front of others.
Above all, I inspire learners to develop a passion for music and see the piano as a lifelong companion.
