About Wes
I love English Literature. I am passionate about the works of the great poets.
In the working hours, I carry out duties in a professional environment. In the resting hours, I read, write, teach, and ramble in the countryside to observe the beauty and the grandeur of the external world of nature.
My long-term goal is to publish my research on some of the greatest poets in English.
I am well-read with an intimate knowledge of theology, philosophy, history, poetry, and science. I collect books, and I own an extensive library.

I design lessons not only to advance your knowledge of the liberal arts of language, but also to develop your proficiency in practical criticism. When conjoined, both enhance your stability and creativity in English Literature.
My lessons are designed to improve your close reading and essay writing skills by engaging with your higher cognitive faculties. I adopt a methodology of teaching which links objectivity with subjectivity to ensure your success.
I will guide you on how one should approach the texts of the best masters of the English Language, before cultivating your ability to produce an intelligent piece of writing for use in GCSE, A-Level, or Degree.

If my rates are too expensive, then I am open to negotiation. The ability to read and to write well in English is essential for success in our society. I believe that knowledge of the liberal arts of language should be available to everyone.
