About Felipe
In my saxophone lessons, I aim to create a nurturing environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves musically while developing strong technical skills. I begin by focusing on the foundational aspects of saxophone playing, such as breath control, embouchure, and tone production. These essential skills are the key to producing a beautiful sound on the saxophone. As students progress, I introduce more advanced techniques, including phrasing, articulation, rhythm, and dynamics, to help them refine their playing. I also believe in the importance of creativity, so I incorporate improvisation exercises into lessons to help students develop their own musical voice. Real songs and interactive exercises are also a key part of my approach, as they allow students to apply their skills to music they enjoy and connect more deeply with their instrument. I tailor each lesson to the individual, providing personalized feedback and guidance that helps students overcome challenges and stay motivated. Whether preparing for an exam, a performance, or simply playing for fun, I strive to create an environment where students feel inspired and excited to continue progressing on their musical journey.

For me, teaching the saxophone is about more than just technique—it’s about inspiring students to connect with music on a personal level. I work with each student to help them develop their unique sound, improve their technical ability, and explore their creativity. Whether you're a beginner looking to master the basics or an advanced player refining your technique, I provide a customized learning experience tailored to your needs.
I focus on building strong fundamentals, including breath control, tone production, and finger coordination, while also incorporating improvisation, music theory, and ear training to enhance musical expression. I love to challenge my students, but I also make sure that the lessons remain enjoyable and motivating. My goal is to help you become a confident saxophonist who can perform with ease and express your musical ideas freely.
