About Youssef
I'm a student of International Relations and Philosophy of Language at the University of St. Andrews with extensive experience in learning languages and teaching. I speak Arabic, English and Italian fluently and know more than enough to get around with French and Spanish. I like to listen to the student's needs and adapt my approach accordingly to ensure not just learning but a positive experience with the language (which is the best way to learn!).

My approach to teaching is based on conversing with the student in order to identify any weaknesses and adapt course material based on their personal needs. My lessons typically range from 1 to 2 hours based on student preference. My ability to teach Italian stems from it being one of my native languages. My goal with teaching is not just to increase proficiency in grammar but also to allow the student to be comfortable with different ways in which the language is used and to address any insecurities in spoken and written Italian.
