About Livia

I have been passionate about teaching violin for the past 10 years. My journey as a music educator began with a deep love for the violin, which has only grown stronger over time. I teach violin to students ranging from school age to college level, tailoring my lessons to meet each student's unique needs and goals.

Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure of witnessing many of my students achieve significant milestones, from their first successful performance to mastering complex pieces. One of my proudest moments was seeing a student win a regional music competition, showcasing the skills and confidence we developed together.

My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive and inspiring environment where students can thrive. I believe in the power of music to transform lives and am committed to helping my students discover their own passion for the violin. About the lesson

My teaching methodology for violin is based on three key principles: Accountability, Creativity, and Communication.

**Accountability:** I believe that setting clear goals and tracking progress is essential for success. I work with each student to create a personalized practice plan, setting achievable milestones and regularly reviewing progress. This ensures that students stay motivated and see their improvements over time.

**Creativity:** Learning the violin should be an enjoyable and inspiring experience. I incorporate creative exercises and fun activities into my lessons to keep students engaged. From exploring different genres of music to experimenting with improvisation, I encourage students to express themselves and develop their unique musical voice.

**Communication:** Effective communication is the cornerstone of my teaching approach. I maintain an open and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their concerns. I provide clear, constructive feedback and adjust my teaching methods to suit each student's learning style.

In addition to the violin, I also teach related subjects such as viola, cello, and erhu. My extensive experience of over 10 years in teaching allows me to adapt my approach to suit beginners, intermediate players, and those aiming for professional levels. My ultimate goal is to foster a deep passion for playing the violin, helping students not only to master their instrument but also to enjoy the journey of making music.
