About Rhea

I have over six years of experience teaching violin and hold a Bachelor of Music in Composition with a focus on violin. My passion lies in crossover violin styles like Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop Strings, and World Music. I love exploring how looping pedals and effects can transform live performances. Improvisation and creative performance techniques are at the heart of my teaching. I guide students in writing their own solos and adapting popular songs to make them uniquely their own. Experimenting with tone and texture is always encouraged to push the boundaries of traditional violin playing.
