About Evren
I’m a piano tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Collaborative Piano and Chamber Music. My lessons are personalised to fit each student’s goals and learning style. I specialise in pop piano arranging, modern chord voicings, and playing by ear for popular songs. Whether you’re a complete beginner or working towards mastery, I’m here to support and guide you. I have experience teaching a variety of styles, including pop, rock, R\&B, and contemporary worship music. My teaching style is engaging, patient, and encouraging, making sure every student feels comfortable and motivated. I believe learning piano should be fun and inspiring, no matter your skill level. Together, we’ll work on building strong technique while exploring the music you love. I focus on helping you develop skills that are useful for playing and arranging popular music. You’ll learn to listen closely, play confidently, and express yourself creatively. I’m excited to help you discover your musical talents and grow as a pianist. I work especially well with The Jazz Pianist and The Pop Player, guiding them to find their unique voice through consistent, constructive feedback. Together, we explore ways to shape melodies and harmonies on the spot. I break down complex ideas into simple, practical exercises to keep progress steady and fun. Students learn how to listen deeply, react musically, and arrange ideas in real time. This approach not only improves technical skills but also nurtures musical intuition. I tailor each session to fit individual goals and styles. Whether you’re starting out or advancing, I support you every step of the way. The goal is to help you create music confidently and expressively. You’ll gain tools to improvise with ease and enjoy every moment at the keyboard.
