About Kate
I was a freelance writer for a decade, and I have experience teaching in public school and in nontraditional classrooms. I didn't mean to get a double major in college, but I just kept taking Latin courses for fun until one day my Greek professor told me I had almost all the credits for a Classical Philology major and that I should go update my paperwork. I'm unapologetically nerdy and love classical music and fantasy. My brain is spicy and I really jive with students who also have spicy brains.

I meet you at your ability level and we grow from there together! We can work on your homework assignments, or I can design a self-study program tailored just for you. My teaching methods are neurodivergent-friendly, and I incorporate motion, student choice, learning styles, and similar tools into my lessons to accommodate my students' individual needs. One of my favorite things about tutoring is having the flexibility to do weird things to help different people learn in their own way!
I offer English and Latin tutoring, homework help or full programs, and online lessons or in-person at libraries in Tulsa or Broken Arrow. Prices vary based on these factors, so please be clear about what you are looking for!
