About Nicolette
Hi there! My name is Nicolette and I am excited at the prospect of helping strengthen your abilities in English :). I LOVE reading and writing, and I want to help you discover that same passion. I strive to make learning engaging and enjoyable and I believe that having exceptional reading and writing abilities can open up whole new worlds to you in your life.
A little about me:
I recently graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in human development.
I run my own business.
I live in Spokane, WA.
For fun I enjoy reading, trivia, binging a great TV show, hiking, yoga, and traveling.
I'm looking forward to learning more about you and helping you to achieve your educational goals!

- Typical lesson plan varies depending on grade/skill level.
- I offer a judgement-free zone and incorporate student's individual interests into the assignment. I believe that practice, leaning from mistakes, and encouragement to find joy in reading and writing helps accelerate learning.
- As someone who has family members with learning disabilities and who personally struggled to read and write as a child, I understand that teaching methods need to be flexible to the student and their unique wiring in order to get optimal success.
