About Mojo
I tutor high school and middle school students who need help in English, prepping for the ACT or SAT English sections or the AP English Lang or Lit exams.
Outside of my empirical qualifications, I find a lot of joy in writing and in English classes, so one of my major strengths as a teacher is the ability to share that excitement for the subject. I work on finding out what my student personally enjoys within the subject and subsequently, what they might be struggling with. Empirically, I did really well in all of the English classes I've taken at my school and while we do not offer AP at my school, I went out of my way to take the English language and composition exam, and got the highest possible score, which only 9% of people got last year.
