About Kosmas
I’m a 21-year-old student at Trinity College Dublin, currently in my second year of studies after earning first-class honors in my first year and receiving awards for my academic performance. Alongside my studies, I’ve built a strong musical background: Pit band member (Guitar 2 – Electric Guitar) for Forth Children’s Theatre production of "School of Rock" at the Edinburgh Fringe (2025) Trinity College London Grade 7 Pop & Rock Guitar – Distinction (2023) Trinity College London Grade 5 Acoustic Guitar – Distinction Trinity College London Grade 4 Acoustic Guitar – Merit Acoustic guitarist in School Light Ensemble Orchestra (2021–2023)

My guitar lessons are designed especially for beginners and amateur players who want to build a solid foundation at their own pace. We’ll start with the essentials: basic chords, scales, and rhythm, and introduce sight-reading skills before moving naturally into tabs. The goal is to develop real musicianship, not just memorise shapes on the fretboard.
Music theory will be approachable and practical: from reading simple note values to understanding how chords fit together. If you’re feeling adventurous, we can even explore topics like musical modes and how they shape different styles of music.
Lessons are flexible and student-focused. If there’s a song you’ve always wanted to learn, we’ll break it down together (using both tab and sheet music where helpful) so you develop both your ear and your reading skills. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or coming back to it after a break, I’ll help you build confidence and have fun with every session.

Kosmas was a huge help during my GCSEs, especially in Maths and Physics. He made tough topics like electromagnetism, electricity, and radiation much easier to understand. In Maths, he helped me get the hang of quadratic and cubic graphs, which I used to struggle with.
