About Hannah

I’ve had the pleasure of teaching Spanish to adult learners for over 8 years. With an MA in Spanish for the Professions, I bring both expertise and empathy to each session. I especially enjoy working with retirees who want to keep their minds sharp and discover new passions. My lessons are calm, respectful, and always customized. We take a gentle approach—one conversation, one cultural moment at a time. Whether you're drawn to Spanish art, history, or just want to hold a basic conversation while traveling, I’ll help you get there. I include practical vocabulary, engaging topics, and light reading to keep you motivated. There’s no rushing, no memorization stress—just consistent, enjoyable learning. About the lesson

My Spanish lessons focus on communication in medical environments. Whether you're preparing for clinical work or just want to help others during travel, I provide the tools to do it clearly and kindly. My method uses a mix of vocabulary drills, pronunciation practice, and live role-play exercises. We’ll work on everything from appointment scheduling to giving emergency instructions.

Each lesson is built around practical goals. You’ll learn how to express empathy, explain procedures, and respond to patient needs. I make sure we revisit and reinforce terms often. I also help you understand when to use formal or informal Spanish, which is especially important in health care. Hobbyists and travelers will benefit from focused lessons on basic terms and first-response language.
