About Mikayla
Hello! My passions for the arts are a tremendous part of my teaching efforts. I have attended arts schools such as U.B. Kinsey Palmview Elementary School of the Arts, BAK Middle School of the Arts, and A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts as a vocal and musical theatre major. I also have a bachelor's of Music Technology from FAU. My educational background gives me the opportunity to give back to students who strive to be the best version of themselves. I believe in having patience and ambition in anything we set our minds to do. My goal is to not only teach voice but to transfer my lessons into life lessons as they grow into adulthood. To teach you how to persevere through challenges and never give up in any aspect of life.

Hands-on approach through movement exercises to activate deep breathing. Various vocal warm-ups to assist in musical pieces. Music theory knowledge will be incorporated into lessons for better understanding of material. We would then end the lesson with interactive assignments during the week in order to reach the goals for the next lesson.

Details
I offer the first lesson virtually in order to evaluate my clients. If you decide you’d like to continue booking, prices are based off duration of lessons and distance from your home. Please be advised I am a full-time teacher during the week. As of right now, my only availability is on the weekends.
