About Keyara

I’m a voice teacher with a BM in Jazz Vocal Performance and over 9 years of experience helping singers grow their skills, confidence, and stage presence. My focus is on musical theatre and Broadway, where voice and character meet. I teach students of all levels, from beginners to seasoned performers. My lessons emphasise storytelling through song, expressive technique, and healthy vocal habits. We’ll work on belting safely, navigating vocal shifts, and owning the stage with confidence. I also incorporate ear training, harmony, and theory to build musical fluency and independence. Improvisation and creative exercises are regular parts of my lessons. I want every student to feel comfortable experimenting and growing. My teaching style is encouraging, responsive, and always voice-safe. Each lesson is about your goals, your sound, and your path. Let’s take your voice to where it belongs—onstage.

About the lesson

My teaching approach blends strong vocal technique with emotional storytelling. I believe that every song has a message, and it’s your job to deliver it clearly and honestly. Lessons are built around interpretation, stage presence, and connecting with your audience. We focus on understanding lyrics, finding emotional truth, and using phrasing and dynamics to bring songs to life. I also work on breath support, tone, and agility to help you handle complex material. You’ll learn how to embody your songs and make them your own. I’ve helped students like The Fiddler and The Music Major refine their ability to connect deeply with an audience. I support students in taking bold risks and growing as performers. Lessons are flexible, personalised, and always encouraging. With each session, we’ll unlock more of your vocal and emotional range. Let’s tell your story through song.
