About Dermian
I am a Mechanical Engineering student and native French speaker. I have experience tutoring, teaching and grading French students since High School; where I served as my French Teacher's assistant. I can tutor one or one; at least five people simultaneously. I have received a perfect score of 7 on my IB duploma in French and thereby qualified for the state of Maryland's Seal of Bilingualism.

I can teach anyone at any level. I teach French at the rate of the student, gradually increasing the vocabulary and concepts based on the progress. I find it pointless to use advanced words or to speak at a level or pace which may hinder a student's comprehension. I switch between the languages often as I'm explaining to make sure the student understands the concepts covered. I also like to point out interesting facts on the French culture and language as I give out lessons.
