About Chris

I am an experienced English teacher with around 15 years of teaching experience. The majority of which has been focused on private students and one-to-one classes. Spanish, Portuguese, French. I have also been taught in Korea, England, Japan, China and Vietnam. I am fluent Portuguese, and Spanish, so I know what it is to learn a new language, to feel frustrated, and to feel happy when you improve! I can focus on typical errors English learners tend to make and help you I have prepared many students for the IELTS, FCE, Advanced, Proficiency, TRINITY exams. I have long experience with professional / business English classes. I have been taught at many large, important companies such as Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte, PWC, Fox TV, and many others.

About the lesson

My methodolgy is based on the needs of each individual student. Every student has a different class plan based on their personal needs. I will give you a small English test, and a test to evaluate your level. Based on this information I will give you a list of grammatical mistakes that we will work on together. I will also ask for a text for me for homework for the following class every week. We will analyze your written English together in class and correct your mistakes. There will also be extensive conversation and some grammar practice in each class.

Deadly! Je suis Brésilien vivant en France depuis près de 2 ans, j'ai passé un test d'anglais pour un processus de sélection d'emploi, mon anglais était complètement rouillé, je ne pouvais pas parler une phrase sans la confondre avec le français, malheureusement je n'ai pas eu plus de 4 jours pour être prêt. J'ai eu la chance de trouver Chris, qui dès le premier cours a compris l'urgence et a fait tous les efforts pour me préparer, plus qu'une fantastique didactique il m'a motivé à me sentir en confiance et j'ai réussi le test. Je recommande les yeux fermés Chris, sans lui cela n'aurait pas été possible. Merci bien.
