About Jasmine
In my guitar instruction, I focus on developing well-rounded musicians who possess not only technical proficiency but also a deep understanding of musical expression and creativity. I begin by getting to know my students—understanding their musical preferences, aspirations, and any previous experience they may have.
This information allows me to design lessons that are relevant, engaging, and aligned with their interests. Technical skills are developed through a structured approach that emphasizes proper technique, consistency, and gradual progression. I focus on building a solid foundation in areas such as finger placement, strumming patterns, and chord transitions, ensuring that students have the tools they need to succeed. Music theory & Creativity is nurtured through improvisation and composition exercises. I encourage students to experiment with different musical ideas, fostering a sense of artistic freedom and self-expression.
Performance opportunities are an integral part of my teaching. I organize recitals and encourage students to participate in public performances, helping them build confidence and stage presence. These experiences provide valuable feedback and motivation for continued growth. A positive and supportive learning environment is essential for student success. I strive to create a space where students feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and celebrating their achievements.
