About Arden
I am a dedicated guitar tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, specializing in creating accessible and supportive learning environments. My journey has been deeply shaped by working with visually impaired and differently-abled students. Over the years, I have developed unique methods that make guitar playing both approachable and enjoyable for everyone. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on Guitar, which grounds my teaching in both theory and practice. Beyond academic training, my real strength lies in adapting lessons to meet individual needs. I use tactile notation systems to help learners physically connect with the instrument. Audio cue training is another core strategy I employ, guiding students to strengthen their listening skills and musical memory. Strong rhythmic development is a central theme in my lessons, ensuring that every student feels confident and grounded in their playing. I believe rhythm is the heartbeat of music, and it creates a sense of unity between player and sound. My classes combine patience, creativity, and flexibility to foster steady progress. I am passionate about making music education truly inclusive, removing barriers so that every student feels seen and supported. Teaching is not just about playing notes—it’s about empowering people to express themselves. My teaching approach is built on exploration and discovery, where students set the goals and I help shape the path.
