About Elias
Hi! I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Studies. I help vocalists of all levels grow in confidence, control, and artistry—whether they sing for joy or aim to record professionally. My lessons blend technical training with creative exploration, using modern tools like DAWs, vocal processors, and studio mics to prepare students for real-world recording and songwriting. I specialise in genres that speak from the heart—R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian. Through these styles, I guide students in shaping their tone, refining their phrasing, and building rich harmonies. Lyric interpretation is a big part of what I teach because I believe every singer is a storyteller first. Whether you're working on your first demo or just want to improve your vocals for fun, I create a space that’s welcoming, honest, and inspiring. I work closely with hobbyists and aspiring artists alike to unlock each voice’s full potential. Together, we’ll explore expressive techniques and studio strategies that bring your music to life. My singing lessons are designed to help each student grow in pitch accuracy, expressiveness, and vocal confidence—no matter their starting point. Whether you're an adult beginner discovering your voice or a soloist in training aiming for stage readiness, I offer tailored guidance to meet your goals. We begin with foundational breath work, posture, and vocal warm-ups to build control and ease. Pitch perfection is developed through fun, focused ear training exercises, often supported by apps that make progress easy to track. I also use recording software and basic pitch correction tools so students can hear their own growth and fine-tune their sound over time. Expressiveness is key, so we explore a variety of song styles—pop, classical, R&B, jazz, and more—to help you find your unique tone and emotional connection. Each genre brings different technical and creative skills, which keeps learning fresh and meaningful. Confidence grows naturally when students hear real improvement in their tone and delivery. We work together to shape performances that are authentic and captivating, whether for personal enjoyment or public performance. Lessons are encouraging, goal-driven, and flexible to your pace. I believe singing should feel empowering—and sound amazing too!
