About Delia
I’m a passionate French tutor with over 14 years of experience and a Bachelor of Applied Languages in French education. I specialize in teaching children aged 5 to 12, creating joyful and engaging lessons through storytelling, songs, and movement. My goal is to make learning French a playful and memorable experience. I focus on building strong foundations in vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple grammar. Using characters, props, and interactive games, I bring the French language to life for young learners. My approach keeps children involved, curious, and excited to participate. Each lesson is designed to match their age, interests, and learning pace. I believe that laughter, creativity, and repetition are key to early language success. My sessions are full of color, rhythm, and imagination, helping children remember and use what they learn with confidence. Over the years, I’ve seen many young learners grow from hesitant beginners to happy and curious speakers. I take pride in creating a safe, supportive space where they feel free to try, make mistakes, and enjoy the process. Most of all, I love sparking curiosity and helping every child believe they can succeed in French.

For students with a cultural or personal connection to the language, I help strengthen their foundation and expand their fluency. I also support learners who wish to use French for travel or global exposure by focusing on real-life conversation, cultural insights, and everyday vocabulary.
Lessons are structured, but flexible to fit each learner’s pace and goals. I believe in encouragement, consistency, and building a strong connection with the language.
