About Solene
Hi, I'm Solene and I'm a 21 year old French student in Canada majoring in life sciences. I am very curious by nature as I find interest in a very wide range of subjects, from astrophysics to finance, but also biology or law. I also really enjoy learning new languages, so far I can speak 6 languages (French, English, German, Spanish at native levels, and Italian and Dutch at B2 and A2 levels respectively) and intend on working towards at least 8 by adding portuguese and mandarin chinese. I have always loved teaching people things, even if it was something as simple as a fun fact. Did you know that rats laugh when they're tickled ?

For you to fully grasp and understand the material, I like to use some imagery or give real life examples because I think that helps tremendously when it comes to memorising. I mostly tutor middle school for whom it is very important to pinpoint weaknesses to correct them as soon as possible. I also do tutor high school students and can absolutely help you catch up on some gaps in your knowledge. I am patient and love constantly learning new things, which I then may add to my teaching style, bettering myself and increasing the quality of my teaching even more.
