About Claire
Throughout my university studies I bounced between the laboratory and forest, the macro and micro. I had the privilege of studying plants and fungi in their natural environment, as well as under a microscope. This year I founded a mushroom farm where I take a simple piece of tissue and expand it into large quantities of edible fungi. The nature of my work keeps my schedule fairly open and I’d love to fill it helping students further their understanding, and hopefully appreciation for our natural world.
