About Jocelyn
I’m a French tutor with a BA in International Relations with French and 3 years of teaching experience. I integrate current French media, including news headlines, interviews, and podcasts, into lessons. Listening comprehension and pronunciation are my main focus. Lessons target accent, intonation, and natural speech flow. Students learn to speak authentically and confidently. I’ve guided analysts, researchers, and globally minded learners. Each session is personalised to your professional or personal goals. We practise summarising, debating, and discussing complex topics. Critical thinking is emphasised alongside language skills. I teach French with a focus on fashion vocabulary and practical use. Visual sources, such as magazines, photos, and online collections, are central to lessons. Students learn to describe clothing, discuss styles, and understand trends. I provide extra support for immigrants, newcomers, and hobbyists. Lessons emphasise speaking, listening, and confidence. Students practise expressing opinions and sharing fashion ideas naturally. I guide learners to use vocabulary for fabrics, colours, patterns, and accessories. Every session is interactive and tailored to the student’s level. We explore contemporary French fashion and local comparisons. Lessons strengthen both comprehension and speaking skills.
