About Shantonobho

I am a Commercial Photography and a Photography Trainer with 14 years of experience. My client list includes companies like TATA, FedEx, DeBears, Live in Art, International Studies for Management Excellence, HINCOL and many more.

My Qualifications :

1. Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Still Photography ( 2008-2009 )
Light and Life Academy, Ooty. Specialized in People, Portraiture and Fashion (in Studio and on Location)

2. Diploma in Professional Fashion Photography ( 2006 )
National Institute of Photography, Mumbai

3. Graguation – B.Com. (2003)

About the lesson

Course Duration : 5 Hours

Number of Sessions : 5

Course Structure :
1) Introduction to Photography
2) Composition
3) Understanding Exposure (ISO, Shutter & Aperture)
4) Understanding Camera Metering & Histogram
5) Exploring Camera and Lenses
6) Creative use of Aperture and Shutter
7) Basics of Light

Lecture Style:
Lecture will be a mix of Theory and Practical. After every lecture student needs to shoot practicals and send the images for review.

I strongly believe in giving back to the next generation of rising photographers and hence I regularly go to institutions as a visiting faculty. My methodology is simple - understanding basic is the most important thing in learning a subject. My students can ask me any number of questions in relation to the subject till they and I am confident that the topic is understood. Also, practice makes a man perfect, as the saying goes. Assignment are given to students to understand that what they have learnt can be practically applied by them and then inputs are given based on their submission.
