About Kalisha
I have helped children from ages 8 to 15 learn Spanish since I was in high school. As a native I have experience with all types of Spanish speakers and I can help you understand different accents and vocabulary in the Hispanic community also. At a college level I was also a Spanish tutor and had great success with conversational Spanish students from Puerto Rico, Mexico and US.

The reason why most people have a hard time with Spanish is because there is not much focus on pronunciation and phonics. We tackle phonics and then go right into vocabulary. Things you need to know to survive in conversation, look and sound confident! I like to do dialogues, I’ll use real life news and pop culture to get you familiarized with real world Spanish.
