About Grace

I have obtained a Distinction in my French Masters at Oxford and graduated a few years ago for my undergraduate degree, with a First in History and French, also from Oxford. I've always loved teaching. I'm really passionate about my subjects, and want to share my enthusiasm with my students! I am safeguarding trained.

About the lesson

My lessons normally last an hour, and I try to make them as light-hearted, relaxed, and enjoyable as possible. I have 5 years tutoring experience, so I am very comfortable teaching; I try to make my lessons varied and interesting, switching between discussion/exercises/exam paper practice. I always keep in mind the end-goal (whatever that may be for my tutee) and plan to make sure this gets achieved, but most important to me is that I make my subjects fun!

Arissa did really well in our first lesson, especially with her vocabulary knowledge. We've highlighted some things to work on moving forwards, mainly verb endings & agreements, and masculine vs feminine nouns!
