About Laura
I've got 17 years experience of teaching all ages and abilities. I'm personable and accustomed to putting my pupils at ease, and have adjusted my teaching to suit online lessons during the pandemic. I teach for a music service and privately during the week, and perform with a folk-rock band at weekends.

I teach classical as a base but I often teach simple chords in lessons so pupils can play along to pop/rock music too. I teach technique and I am good at breaking things down to help pupils master coordination and pieces efficiently. I teach reading but also encourage playing by ear. I can help prepare for exams or just learning more casually. In short, I realise everyone is different, so I offer a varied programme of learning which adapts to the individual pupil.
