About Lyra
With a Master’s in Applied Physics and more than 5 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in helping students master optics and wave phenomena. My teaching covers light, sound, and electromagnetic waves, always with an emphasis on how these ideas drive modern technology. I work closely with students on ray tracing, diffraction, and interference, ensuring they build both mathematical skill and conceptual clarity. These fundamentals are critical not only for academic success but also for innovation in technical fields. Many of my students are engaged in photonics, telecommunications, and imaging sciences. I teach Physics with a balance of structure and flexibility. My lessons follow a clear path, but I adapt my style to meet each student’s learning needs. Using analogies and simulations, I simplify complex areas such as electromagnetism, circuits, waves, optics, and early quantum topics.
