About Alex
I have 2 years of experience teaching or helping to teach biology and genetics classes at the University of Utah, where I have worked with dozens of students.
I have also personally mentored a young woman for the last 4 years who is just about to start graduate school herself after gaining research experience in the lab where I am conducting my graduate research.

I currently a 6th year PhD graduate student in genetics at the University of Utah in the Human Genetics Dept.
My teaching style is very tailored to each student that I am working with, meaning I can present lessons based on visual modes of learning or oral or written or a mixture of styles, really whatever I and the student feel works best. I am also very patient and love working with people struggling to grasp a subject.
